TRANSFORM

The solution was implemented as part of the EIT Climate KIC (COVID-19 Call) Project TRANSFORM: Smart Climate KIC City Transformation. The projected climate impact is based on two key components:

  1. Digital Transformation – This initiative aims to reduce energy consumption by an average of 15% per year, translating to an annual climate impact of 0.15 MtCO₂e per home. This reduction is achieved through e-Energy services, which leverage data from domestic and personal IoT devices for enhanced energy management. Additionally, e-Health services will provide predictive and prescriptive feedback on citizens’ health.
  2. Full Transformation – This approach involves home refurbishments akin to deep renovation projects within the Climate KIC portfolio. These renovations target an average energy reduction of 70%, leading to an estimated annual climate impact of 0.71 MtCO₂e per home.
